Where I've Worked
Frontend developer @ Medserv
April 2023 - June 2026
- Led frontend development of a Revenue Cycle Management portal rebuild, a React SPA used by doctors, surgeons, and secretaries to manage insurance claims, patient procedures, and billing workflows architecture decisions independently
- Worked closely with a UX designer and backend developer to build the product from prototype to launch. Implemented components from Figma designs and agreed API contracts with the backend developer
- Joined weekly planning meetings with the project owner, designer, and backend developer to review progress and plan upcoming work
- Designed per-insurer dynamic form validation using Zod schemas that switch per provider within a single reusable form component
- Built a CSRF protected authentication layer with dual Axios instances and automatic session timeout handling
- Mentored a junior developer through code review, pair programming, and guidance on React patterns and best practices
- Owned the bulk price update feature from client demos and feedback sessions through to implementation, building the Vue frontend interface and corresponding Laravel backend routes to meet client needs
- Transitioned into fullstack responsibilities, contributing across PHP/MySQL legacy backend including debugging complex business logic and delivering new features
- Built a sortable, date filterable payments table with CSV export, displaying data consistently for clients regardless of whether it came through a third party accounting integration or an internal sync process
- Built a CSV bulk-upload tool in PHP for pre appointment procedures, replacing a multi step manual form. Validated hospital, insurance, and procedure codes against existing records, with per row error logging for invalid entries before saving to the database
- Delivered visual redesigns for company beta websites using Sass and Tailwind CSS.
